Obesity Service

We offer a specialist service for patients with co-morbidities due to obesity, with expertise in lifestyle, pharmacotherapy and the surgical management of obesity.

This clinical service ‘The Imperial Weight Centre’ is led by Dr Carel Le Roux who is widely published in the field. The service is integrated with dietetics and bariatric surgery services.

The 'Imperial Weight Centre' also offers a private service to consult on weight-related medical issues and provides weight-loss management guided by a multidisciplinary team.

We also offer a specialist service for patients with a defined genetic cause for their obesity e.g. Prader-Willi Syndrome.
